Man Boy Brown is the musical alter ego of Raul Pacheco, a founding member and songwriter of Los Angeles’ legendary Latino American dance band Ozomatli. Man Boy Brown’s initial release on Blue Elan Records reimagines classic American song forms of the early 1970’s and pays homage to the records of his Chicano parents and older sisters. “As a young child I heard lots of music in the house, my parents and older sisters all had different tastes because they were all different ages. My 5 year old self learned song forms this way…” Raul Pacheco’s original compositions have appeared in numerous media outlets including award winning recordings, commercials and films. The three time Grammy winner continues to support social and political causes that make the world a better place for all.
