Jackie Mendez

Jackie Mendez is a vocalist & musician based in Los Angeles,
California. Growing up in the San Gabriel Valley with various styles of music, it wasn’t until her introduction to Ska that she soon took the next step and started playing in various bands. Heavily influenced b y early 1960s Jamaican music, she soon had an interest
in crossing over to a more Soulful Rock steady sound. She got her start as a solo artist under Angel City records in 2013. Soon after came her very first release “Introducing Jackie Mendez” which gave her the opportunity to tour Europe, Mexico, Australia and the U.S. Jackie has toured independently and with top international acts, Mon Laferte & Natalia Lafourcade. She’s now had multiple releases on several different labels and is currently in the studio working on a full length album.
