Playing a variety of classic country music from Bakersfield pioneers Buck Owens, Merle Haggard and Red Simpson to the likes of Nashville legends Hank Williams, George Jones and Johnny Cash, Vince Galindo has been fixture of the Bakersfield music scene for over two decades. Loyal to the traditions of the Bakersfield Sound and classic country music, Vince covers are full of emotion and feeling telling the stories that is missing in today’s country music. Learning as much as he can about country music, Vince passes it’s rich history to his audience through his performances. These days, you can catch Galindo live every Wednesday night at Rooster’s Honky Tonk downtown as both a soloist and with his band, Country Deluxe.
