Annika Maya

DJ, musician and fashion muse Annika Maya was born and raised in Long beach, California by music-loving parents. She played in bands and collected records growing up, and was soon attracted to the music scene in Los Angeles, CA. Attending hundreds of shows in the Indie, Disco, and LGBTQ+ community; she loved collecting records and amassed a vast digital music library throughout her years partying. She became quite the party muse and began to promote and host some of LA’s finest parties and e vents. As well booking for LA Record, Annika’s day job consisted of being now a lingerie designer to celebrity assistant stylist for such celebrities as Rihanna, Florence and the Machine and Bjork. Within juggling her fast paced fun loving and always positive life, she began to DJ 5 years ago and has been booked in LA, NY, London, Madrid and Paris. She has created playlist for The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, The Standard DTLA and Hollywood Properties.
As well, she has landed increasingly more high profile DJ gigs working with the Houston Hospitality
Properties, the Journal Group, The Hollywood Roosevelt, The Standard Hotel, and W. In regards to
experiential marketing events to name a few, Annika has spun for Flaunt Magazine, Levis, Marc Jacobs and Planet Blue. You can now catch her at her weekly’s in LA at Tenants of the Trees, Spanky’s Hollywood, and Blind Barber. With her carefully developed taste for vintage sounds and style, she possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of all things fashion & italo disco, baby! <3
