Tarahumara descendent Artson embodies the connection between hip-hop & indigenous culture. As a dancer, he’s been a member of the world-famous Rock Steady Crew & Style Elements Crew. He’s also recorded & performed with legendary Emcees, and earned two Native American Music Awards: Best Narrative Music Video for his song “Never Give Up” & best Rap/HipHop recording for his album Brave Star. In 2022, Artson joined the cast of Bear Grease, an all-indigenous theatre production touring year-round in North America. He is now excited to return to his true passion of educating the youth through his latest musical releases and inspirational workshops where he shares his journey as an artist.
