GLIFOS, a mighty nine-piece ensemble, was formed in 2016 by individuals in the Los Angeles and Riverside area. They focus on contemporary political and social issues, coming together to create original music that reflects Fela’s point of view: “music is a weapon.” They find influence in Afrobeat, Ethio, and Afro Psychedelic Funk Fusion Jazz grooves that are typically  aired on the left side of the radio station or not at all.
