Junebugg started off as a party promoter in the 90’s. During set up and take down of her events, she often found herself helping the DJs and due to her love of music, decided it was a craft she wanted to learn as well. She began collecting records and saved up for her very own Technics 1200s. Things took off from there. Soon after she learned about the Invisibl Skratch Piklz and the art of turntablism as was hooked. She developed a monthly open-turntables and DJ at the park in Long Beach on a Sunday afternoon. She and a group of friends soon birthed LBC Park Jam out of that idea and since then its been the longest running day party on the West Coast about to enter its 23rd year! Junebugg is a graphic designer, promoter and DJ who has toured with J Ross Parrelli, played on the radio and of course rocked many parties over the years and is excited to share her taste in music to NextFest at the LA County Fair.
