From his early days in Pasadena, learning to DJ on vinyl and shadowing his uncle at family parties, to becoming a skilled turntablist under the Beat Junkies Institute of Sound, he’s clearly put in the hours to perfect his craft. His musical evolution—from hip-hop, house, latin, pop, top 40 and even to country—was also shaped by his experiences in the Marine Corps, where exposure to different genres led him to fall in love with country music even more.
Today, as the official DJ for the Compton Cowboys, Super Drew is a bridge between cultures, blending his roots in hip-hop with his passion for country music. Touring with artists across various genres and performing at major events like Stagecoach has solidified his place in the industry. And with his sights set on even more opportunities in 2025, Super Drew is clearly pushing the envelope in both DJing and music production.
