The Rehearsal

The Rehearsal is a music-first experience rooted in South LA, curating local talent with intention, care, and real community. Hosting weekly shows inside Mercado La Paloma, we create a space where emerging artists can perform released and unreleased music, feel seen and respected, and connect with fans, collaborators, and industry without the ego or pay-to-play nonsense. Through curated lineups, livestreams, and real conversations, we’re building mutual support and helping artists envision themselves on bigger platforms while keeping it grounded, intimate, and human. We’ve been featured in the Los Angeles Times and on KTLA, interviewed on KCRW 89.9 FM “Press Play”, and honored with a Certificate of Recognition from Congresswoman Sydney Kamlager-Dove for our contribution to arts and culture in South Los Angeles. The Rehearsal curates a community of music lovers and taste makers and is now expanding into popups around Los Angeles and beyond.
