sahn is a singer/songwriter and, through music, a spiritual alchemist with the gift of healing. Born and bred in Vallejo, California, Simone Ledward-Boseman, known by her artist name, sahn, has been singing since infancy. She grew up influenced by the soulful sounds of blues, motown, and funk. Knowing her favorite childhood artist was Sam Cooke and her teen obsessions were hip-hop groups like Hieroglyphics and A Tribe Called Quest, her music makes perfect sense. It’s at once a stunning amalgamation of those who came before her and an absolutely unique world of its own.

This spring, she prepares to release her sophomore album the garden, in which she spills feminine wisdom, taps into spirit, and mindfully meditates through music. Her name itself, sahn, alludes to a special type of breathing meant to evoke peace. Like the calm that washes over you when you finally exhale, her forthcoming songs represent who she is when she is clear and in control – the best version of herself.
