Daniel Grimsland

Daniel Grimsland is a Los Angeles–based multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and producer, originally from New York’s Hudson Valley. Daniel first gained recognition as a member of the progressive rock band 3, where he toured extensively and shared the stage with artists such as Dream Theater, Scorpions, Porcupine Tree, and Coheed and Cambria. In 2012, he founded The Grape And The Grain, a project that showcases his work as a writer, vocalist, and producer.

As a solo artist, Daniel plays Rock & Roll music. His music is inspired by 60s garage rock, 70s classic rock, country, blues, and americana. Beyond writing and performing his own music, Daniel works across genres producing records, composing for sync licensing, and mixing projects for artists and media. His music has been featured internationally on television, in film, and commercially through collaborations with organizations such as American Broadcasting Company, Vox Media, Studio Fontana, and Ad Council. Daniel’s musical journey has taken him from touring internationally to crafting records and scores from his studio in LA. Today, Daniel continues to write, record, perform and collaborate here in Los Angeles and beyond.
