The Nextdoors are wife and husband duo Mika Larson and Russell Mark. Based just up the road in Pasadena, they call their music “cello-soaked Americana.” The Nextdoors debut album Linda Vista was named after Russell’s sister who was lost to cancer in 2020. They launched an event in 2023 called Neighbor Day which drew out Pasadena’s Mayor Victor Gordo and his staff. He declared that “The Nextdoors are one of the true gems of the city.
