Slapbak is a high-energy Funk band with influences from Hip Hop and
Rock/Alternative. Slapbak’s leader Jara Harris started this band in the 90s and has
been producing Slapbak’s music as well as working with other amazing artists. The
band also includes his daughter Jaz Harris on guitar and his wife Alyse Harris on
keyboards. As well as TJ Quake on vocals & rap, Gus Day on guitar, Jesse Conlee on
drums & vocals, Deja Cain on vocals
Jara has worked with artists like Donavon Frankenreiter, Michael Buble, Randy
Jackson (Michael’s brorher), Jose Feliciano, The Time, Digital Underground, Dazz
Band, Snoop Dogg, Jordin Sparks, 112, Koshi Inaba, Devon Allman, just to name a few.
