Erick Mondragon aka D. Ghetto Funk born n raised in Mexico City, started spinnin ofa guitar amp using two CD players at punk shows back in High School bumpin funk from CDs I got at the swp meet.
All the homies wild say I was ghetto as hell and all played was fun.Chetto Funk was born.
Never owning a laptop I never used one for Ding and played all around clubs, venues, bars, yards and italian mob parties. lonce DJed for the offsprings bay party and all we played was punk.
Started producing with limited tools and the tascam tape recorder making music with my guitar and bass, joining several bands through the years and releasing 3 albums in thre different bands I learned how to record on 12″” tape using real time live methods Applying al that to todays technology.
Having two dughters that are at the age where they are taking interest in music production and film my youngest jumps on the decks from time to time and understands the movement of sound.
Giving her a youtube channel to post her mixes she gave her self the name Ghetto Fresa because she likes fresas and her dad. We DJ and collect sounds meeting people and creature l around, waiting for the right time to release our selections.
