Mary Scholz’s stunning voice and evocative songwriting have made her a live circuit
favorite for over a decade. With her unique brand of gritty folk-charm, the Philly born,
LA based artist forges a personal connection with her audience every time she takes
the stage.
Much of Scholz’s material considers how transitions color the human experience. Her
most recent releases also touch on the broader aches of our modern world.
Her 2022 record, Begin Again, produced by Jonathan Wilson, paints a panoramic,
starry landscape, addressing how we process life internally, to how we respond as a
community.
Lonesome, (2021), spent months on the Americana radio charts. She also recently
collaborated with Blue Élan Records on “While We’re Still Young,” debuting at #9 on
Billboard Compilation Chart, and “Janie’s Got A Gun,” a darker rendition of the
Aerosmith classic.
