HUNTER DAILY is like a California poppy – an LA native who
is effortlessly natural in beauty, casually powerful, and
resilient to the elements. Daily offers a fresh and
compelling singer-songwriter soundscape with dreamy
tones, a stripped-back ethos, and impactful “punch-in-the-
stomach” lyrics. Growing up in Laurel Canyon, Daily was
constantly surrounded by music thanks to her mother,
voice actress and singer EG Daily. Growing up with parents
who were often in the spotlight, Daily preferred to look
inwards, using music as a tool to better understand the
world around her.
In 2023, Daily released her debut EP, “Die In LA,” which
reflects the pressures and vulnerabilities of a young
woman growing up in the fishbowl of modern life. Since
then, Daily has been featured on Spotify’s Next Gen Singer-
Songwriters cover among placements on New Music Friday,
sad hour, Apple Music’s Heartache, Feeling Blue, and more.
She also took the stage at iconic LA venues like the
Troubadour, Hotel Cafe, and Winston House.
Now, Daily is releasing her most candid and complex work
yet, beginning with the irresistibly dreamy “Girl Friend.”
Representative of Daily’s personal and artistic growth over
the last year, this new era is marked by sunny, danceable
tracks that act as windows into her psyche, from the sweet
echoes of a slide guitar on “Girl Friend” to the folk
influences on “California Poppies” and “Like You Used To.”
