Chaboi is a DJ / Producer / songwriter from Los Angeles by way of Mexico City.
He is co-founder and music director of LA music collective
‘Late Night Laggers’ which has been a leading force in the Global Bass and Latin
club music community in L.A. since 2013. He has performed at globally
renowned festivals like Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lightning in a Bottle, and SXSW.
His original productions and remixes tracks are played by a variety of DJs in
nightclubs around the world and have been featured in FactMag, Red Bull Radio,
NTS Radio, Triple J, Playboy Mexico, and Boiler Room.
Chaboi’s love for Latin America and global club music culture and deep appreciation
for all musical styles has led him to collaborations with urbano & global bass artists
such as Ms Nina, Dave Nada, DJ Blass, Principe Q, as well as DJ performances alongisde
a variety of artists across genres including Good Times Ahead, Diplo, Calle 13, Cafe Tacvba,
Bonobo , DJ Craze, Tomasa del Real, Louie Vega, From First to Last + many more.
In 2018 he was selected for Red Bull Academy’s Bass Camp in Nashville.
