Rod Gee/Still Water Oldies – Raised between Hollywood and South Central Los Angeles, this multidisciplinary artist’s work is deeply rooted in hip-hop culture and storytelling. Inspired by films like Beat Street, they have built a career spanning broadcast, digital media, and live performance.

A graduate of California State University, Los Angeles, their journey began producing for The Wake Up Show on Power 106, helping pioneer visual hip-hop content. They went on to work with MTV and NBC Universo, creating music and culture-driven programming.

They co-created The Cut with DJ Revolution and co-produced the documentary Where We’re From: The Elements Documentary, preserving LA’s underground hip-hop legacy.

Now performing as a DJ and working with Revolt TV, they continue to shape culture across platforms—bridging generations of sound, story, and community.
