Veetchy

Veetchy is an Afrobeats and R&B singer-songwriter. Born in Douala, Cameroon, he cultivated a passion for music at an early age, precisely in middle school where he would write songs about the occurrences in society as well as his personal life. His musical palette was influenced by giants of African music such as Manu Dibango, Richard Bona, Fally Ipupa, Toto Guillaume, as well as popular sounds from other artists such as Michael Jackson and Chris Brown.

Veetchy started releasing music in late 2019 and has performed at venues such as The Viper Room, Adults Only, Madame Siam and The Troubadour. As a songwriter, he is very unapologetic about his roots, being a Cameroonian native, as that has not only shaped his music but also his identity and vision of life as a whole.

Veetchy’s biggest goal in life is to create impact. He believes that you are successful when the legacy you leave behind pushes somebody else to be a better version of themselves. He hopes that he can inspire people with his music to be a better version of themselves in their own lives and that his music can bring peace, love, and a feeling of fulfilment to anyone who listens to it.
